Certificate Program

Each program is delivered in-person and through distance education. Hollywood Education Institute can only accept students who reside in the state of California.

English Communication and Management Certificate

Rooted in the mission of Hollywood Education Institute, the English Communication and Management Certificate prepares students to thrive in professional settings through the development of essential language and leadership skills while integrating biblical values and ethical decision-making. The program is designed to cultivate Christ-centered leaders who can communicate with integrity, lead with purpose, and navigate diverse workplace environments through a faith-informed lens. This is a 1-year program.

In order to complete a program, a student must:

  1. Satisfactorily complete the 16 courses including all core courses and select elective courses.
  2. Maintain a 2.0 cumulative grade point average on a 4.0 scale.

Upon Completion of the Certificate in English Communication and Management, students will be able to successfully:

  • Communicate professionally and ethically in business settings, embodying biblical values such as honesty, humility, and clarity.
  • Apply foundational management principles while demonstrating servant leadership, ethical stewardship, and cultural sensitivity informed by a Christian worldview.
  • Analyze real-world business situations to identify ethical dilemmas, apply ethical reasoning based on a Christian worldview, and propose solutions that are both organizationally effective and ethically justifiable.
  • Adapt communication strategies for global and multicultural environments, with an emphasis on compassion, unity, and respect as modeled by Christ.
  • Develop spiritual and professional discipline through reflection, self-assessment, and engagement with biblical texts on leadership, decision-making, and calling.

Total 48 quarter credit hours of the courses structure are as follows:
Core Courses – 27 quarter credit hours
Elective Courses – 21 quarter credit hours
